Crowdsourced Knowledge in Organizational Decision Making

چکیده

Inefficiencies naturally form as organizations grow in size and complexity. The knowledge required to address these inefficiencies is often stove-piped across different organizational silos, geographic locations, professional disciplines. Crowdsourcing provides a way tap into the experiences of diverse groups people rapidly identify more effectively solve inefficiencies. We developed prototype crowdsourcing system based on design thinking practices allow employees build shared mental model work collaboratively identify, characterize, rank inefficiencies, well develop possible solutions. conducted study assess how presenting crowdsourced (votes/preferences, supporting argumentation, etc.) from affected Decision Makers (DMs).
